I studied Theology at the Pontifical Faculty of Theology in Wrocław, Mediterranean Culture Studies and Classics at the University of Wrocław, Classics and Archaeology at the Université Toulouse II – Le Mirail (currently Jean Jaurès) in Toulouse, France, and Byzantine Studies at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Wrocław. In addition, I pursued a doctoral degree at the Department of Latin Philology of the Institute of Classical, Mediterranean and Oriental Studies at the University of Wrocław and at the Pontifical Faculty of Theology in Wrocław. I have a CAE certificate and a British TEFL Level 5 certificate. I have attended several hundred hours of methodology and pedagogy courses and trainings.
I have experience in teaching ancient languages (Latin, Greek) and modern languages (English, Italian, French, Polish as a foreign language) at universities in Wrocław (where I also taught ancient religions) and at language schools in Legnica.
Over a dozen years of teaching experience and successes in this field prompted me to run my own business under new legal conditions (in accordance with Article 5. of the Act ofMarch 6, 2018, Entrepreneurs’ Law), the so-called non-registered business under the name “Maciej H. Dąbrowski – korepetycje, kursy językowe, tłumaczenia”.
The business managed to develop to such an extent that the limits applicable to this legal form were no longer sufficient. The application for a grant for the registration of a full-scale business activity was granted, and on November 9, 2020 the enterprise started operating under the new name AKADEMIA JĘZYKOWA (LANGUAGE ACADEMY) (NIP 6912377246).
